Allspice Liqueur or Pimento Dram is made with the fruit from the Pimento Tree which is native to the Caribbean, Central America, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Mexico and Puerto Rico. The Allspice fruit, also called Jamaica pepper, is dried and macerated with additional fruits, spices and herbs in Rum with added sugar. Allspice Liqueur has the flavor combination of clove, cinnamon and nutmeg and is used in a variety of cocktails.
